History ...

The New Way Foundation, Inc. was initially incorporated in 1967 by recovering alcoholics from a local A.A. club-house who were concerned about the still suffering alcoholic.  As the result of this initial concern, the New Way Foundation has grown through the years and developed many services catering to the male alcoholic without insurance who is seeking recovery.  The Foundation today consists of a 50 bed State Licensed and Certified facility located at 207 North Victory Blvd. Burbank.  The Programs are partially funded by the office of Alcohol & Drug Programs Administration.  The Teaching Facility and Administrative Office is located at 844 North Hollywood Way, Burbank and two Sober-Living Facilities are also located in Burbank.  The initial concern that was the reason for the opening of the first half-way house is still held to be first and foremost among the staff and Board of Directors of the New Way Foundation.  This concern is defined as true care and compassion for the alcoholic/addict  who still suffers and desires a better life.
